Foundation Objectives

Trustees of the American Cancer Society Foundation have been charged with these three goals:

• The Foundation will serve as the catalyst for creating a permanent, nationwide, relationship-based major gift culture in the American Cancer Society by involving ourselves with staff and volunteers to cultivate, solicit, and recognize major contributors.
• The Foundation will seek bold, innovative ideas and required funding that will rapidly advance cancer research, treatment, education, prevention, and information.
• The Foundation will work with the Society's Divisions and the National organization to build and manage a significant endowment that will fuel current mission requirements and provide freedom for innovation and the rapid pursuit of new opportunities.
