Mr. Flynn is a founding trustee of the Foundation. As chairman of the board of Mutual of America Life Insurance Company, he was instrumental in securing the company's first gift to the Foundation to support programs for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. He has been honored with numerous awards, including the Society's Alfred P. Sloan, Jr., Memorial Award and the Ubi Caritas Deus Ibi Award, the highest honor of Catholic Charities.
