Stanley Shmishkiss is the founder of the American Cancer Society Foundation. He was largely responsible for recruiting the Foundation's initial board of trustees and securing some of the first major gifts to the Foundation. He has been a supporter of and volunteer with the American Cancer Society for more than 50 years, serving in numerous leadership roles at both the Division and national level, including chairman of the National Board of Directors. Mr. Shmishkiss has been active professionally in insurance, real estate, and investments.
