Richard C. Blum is chairman and president of Richard C. Blum & Associates, Inc., the general partner of Blum Capital Partners, LP, a long-term strategic equity investment management firm. Mr. Blum serves on the board of directors of several companies, including Northwest Airlines Corporation, CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc., Glenborough Realty Trust, Inc., and URS Corporation. Mr. Blum also serves as vice chairman of the Board of Regents of the University of California and is the founder and chairman of the American Himalayan Foundation. He is Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Nepal and Mongolia and serves on the board of trustees of the Brookings Institution and The Carter Center, among other nonprofits.
