Mrs. Bobst is a founding trustee of the American Cancer Society Foundation and the wife of the late Elmer Bobst, a cofounder of the modern American Cancer Society. She commissioned and donated "Fresh Air," the tapestry that hangs in the lobby of the Society's National Home Office. Mrs. Bobst is the benefactor of the Elmer and Mamdouha Bobst Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Bobst Library at New York University. She has established a Foundation endowment for international cancer education. In addition, she donated the Center for Peace and Justice at Princeton University.
