An active volunteer of the American Cancer Society for more than 35 years, John Baity has served in numerous leadership positions, culminating with his role as chair of the Society's National Board of Directors from 2000 to 2001. Mr. Baity is chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee and Council of the International Union Against Cancer. He served in the Air Force before commencing the practice of law in New York City. Mr. Baity is a senior partner of the New York-based international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.
