Mr. Marguleas is the founding chair of the Foundation. He has conducted business primarily in agriculture and has been associated with the development of several specialty fruit and vegetable products that have gained international recognition. The Packer, the produce industry's worldwide publication, named him "Man of the Year" and one of the most influential produce leaders of the past 100 years. He is a trustee of Claremont-McKenna College in Claremont, California, and of Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada.
