Ms. Williams is founder, president, and managing director of Chestnut Pearson & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in corporate community interactions and public responsibility strategies. Previously she was the vice president of public responsibility for Sara Lee Corporation. She has been active with the National Black Arts Festival and Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital and is a recipient of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's Drum Major for Justice Award.
